Grace Race, a 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013. Registration and race kit pick-up is at 5:30p.m. to 6:45p.m. that day at Grace United Methodist Church 220 N Tower Rd at the corner of Old Murphysboro Road, Carbondale.  The 5K Run/Walk fee for early registration is $15 prior to May 31 and $17.00 after that date. The 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is $8.00 before May 31 and $l0 after that date.  USATF certified 5K is a fast, flat course in the church neighborhood.  For more information, call the race hotline 618-457-2818 or send an email to: grace-race@hotmail.com.  Awards will go to: 1st Place Overall 5K Male/Female Walk/Run.
