Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women focus on mission work, be it local, state, national, or international. They respond to ongoing and emergency needs. The UMW meets on the first Monday afternoon of each month at the church at 1:30. All women are welcome to participate in ongoing mission and fund-raising projects. They have a church-wide yard sale in August every year. They also have a Christmas items yard sale/bake sale on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Other events sponsored by the UMW include recognizing United Methodist Women's Sunday, a Mother-Daughter Banquet in the spring, and making Advent bags for the shut-ins of Grace UMC.
